Frydey Foods Calls For Job Applications
We seek a dependable and competent Kitchen Assistant to aid us in preparing tasty meals.
Duties
- Help with meal prep and cooking
- Keep the kitchen tidy and orderly
- Work together with the kitchen personnel
- Thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting all food prep areas in line with set hygiene standards.
- Cleaning and properly storing all cooking devices, tools, utensils, cutting boards, and dishes.
- Helping the Cook in preparing meal components, which involves washing, cleaning, peeling, slicing, and chopping fruits, vegetables, chicken, and meat.
- Cleaning and mopping the kitchen floors while also wiping the kitchen walls.
- Helping with the removal of delivered food items.
- Arranging and properly storing food provisions.
- Quickly moving food items from storage spaces to the kitchen according to the Cook’s directions.
- Heating and stirring soups and sauces, in addition to making hot drinks.
Required Qualification & Experience
- Prior experience in a kitchen (helpful, but not mandatory)
- Experience in burger preparation is required, specifically with smash burgers.
- Capability to perform in a high-speed setting
- Collaborative individual with outstanding communication abilities
- Demonstrated experience supporting in kitchens.
- A licence for food handlers.
- Thorough understanding of food health and safety guidelines.
- The capability to remain upright for long durations.
- The capability to perform in a high-speed setting.
- The skill to collaborate within a group.
- Outstanding abilities in organization and time management.
- Effective communication skills.
