POSITION: Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Remote)

As an SRE, you will become part of our team in creating the infrastructure required to assist the rest of our engineering division. You will assist in developing reliable, highly accessible, economical, and scalable solutions.
We seek an experienced individual and an excellent team collaborator, eager to learn. As part of the European SRE team managing various Tempo products, you will also belong to the larger Global SRE team, which is tasked with creating the fundamental designs and standards.
What You’ll Accomplish
Create, execute, and sustain our infrastructure by employing optimal methods.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement large-scale projects on AWS
- Utilize cutting-edge technologies such as Kubernetes
- Automate essential processes such as build, release, and monitoring (alerting and observability) for infrastructure and products alike.
- Create and implement technical solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Observe system efficiency and resolve problems.
- Join the on-call rotation to assist with our applications.
- Work together with colleagues and additional personnel.
- Confirm that security and compliance standards are fulfilled.
Who You Are
- Over 6 years of applicable professional experience.
- Robust expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Git, Linux, Bash, and Terraform is essential.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting systems like Prometheus.
- Expertise in the implementation of intricate software solutions within a cloud setting.
- Expertise in AWS or alternative cloud-based services
- Thorough comprehension of software design principles.
- Abilities in software development and expertise in a minimum of one programming language.
- Capable of rapidly acquiring knowledge and adapting to new technologies.
- Extremely analytical with a zeal for discovering answers to challenging issues.
- Accountable, initiative-taking, and trustworthy
- Outstanding abilities in communication and teamwork
Would be an advantage:
- Familiarity with Helm, FluxCD, GitHub Actions, Ansible, Datadog.
- Familiarity with assisting Java/Kotlin applications
- Familiarity with creating solutions for Atlassian environment
