POSITION: Stakeholder & Membership Engagement Officer
Plato Consult is a purely Ghanaian company founded in 2007 to offer value-added third-party services, including manpower support, supply services, logistics, human resource services, protocol assistance, consulting, engineering, and general repairs.
For the last 15 years, Plato Consult has assisted various local and international organizations in achieving significant milestones in client growth and is open to collaborating in joint venture partnerships.
We aim to support our clients in reaching their business goals by formulating strategies that align our clients’ vision with their operational strategy, business strategy, and people strategy to drive growth and financial outcomes.
OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION
The chosen candidate will be instrumental in setting up and managing the Secretariat, while enhancing communication, collaboration, and coordination among the members of the Association and external partners.
The position reports to the Executive President.
ROLE SPECIFIC
- Oversees Secretariat functions and assists member services to guarantee seamless operations.
- Acts as the primary point of contact for members, stakeholders, and partners.
- Establishes and oversees connections with stakeholders and partner entities.
- Acts on behalf of the Association during meetings, events, and with outside organizations.
- Promotes information exchange, advocacy, and compliance assistance for members.
- Promotes membership expansion and shares pertinent industry news.
- Aids in communication, training, and networking efforts.
- Keeps precise documentation, manages finances, and produces reports for the Executive Committee.
Required Skills or Experience
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Public Relations, or a related area (Master’s degree is a plus).
- At least 5 years of experience in a liaison, stakeholder engagement, advocacy, or public relations position, ideally within a professional association or industry-related organization.
- Solid understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and market trends.
