JOB OVERVIEW
We’re looking for a talented Sales Data Analyst to equip NUMA’s sales and finance departments with practical insights. This essential position requires examining intricate sales data, such as prepaid metering and customer patterns, to enhance revenue growth, refine campaigns, and guide strategic choices. The perfect applicant is a meticulous, forward-thinking expert with strong analytical abilities and a commitment to utilizing data in alignment with NUMA’s goal of sustainable water accessibility.
MAIN DUTIES:
- Data Gathering and Evaluation; Gather, arrange, and evaluate sales data to discern trends, monitor performance, categorize customers, and assist in market opportunity evaluations.
- Reporting and Visualization: Create and sustain sales reports and dashboards, producing concise visualizations and summaries to convey insights and performance indicators.
- Sales Forecasting and Planning; Utilize historical data and market trends to predict sales, assess campaign performance, and suggest data-informed enhancements to sales tactics.
- Teamwork and Interaction: Partner with internal groups to grasp data requirements, present insights straightforwardly and practically, and offer data assistance for evaluating new market possibilities.
Required Skills or Experience
CREDENTIALS
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, or an equivalent discipline.
- Over 7 years of experience as a Sales Data Analyst or in a comparable position.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with prepaid metering systems or data from utility-based sales is greatly preferred.
TECHNICAL ABILITIES
- Expertise in SQL, Python, or R for analyzing and modeling data.
- Proficiency in business intelligence software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and customer relationship management platforms (e.g., Laison, Salesforce). Proficient in Excel for analyzing data and generating reports.
- Experience with statistical software (e.g., SPSS, Minitab) is an advantage.
