What you will be engaging in:
- Familiarize yourself with the local media environment and seek opportunities to influence media strategies through new collaborators and formats.
- Effectively utilize your connections with agencies, brands, and partners to encourage the use of Jumia Advertising.
- Take initiative in managing client relationships by utilizing traffic and platform features to advance the client’s business and marketing goals.
- Work together with our Commercial Team and Key Accounts to establish precise business goals, effective digital advertising and marketing initiatives, along with the assessment of those initiatives.
- Oversee projects involving cross-functional teams and the client to guarantee the successful execution of those programs.
- Deliver findings and outcomes to Key Accounts Client Executives.
- Function as an expert authority in digital marketing, data analysis, and audience targeting.
- Enhance and distribute project management methodologies, guidelines, templates, and best practices internally and with client teams.
- Increase income stream from these client accounts.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals linked to your client account portfolio.
- Proactively seek out and target new advertising client accounts.
- Envision, articulate, record, evaluate, suggest, and display fresh online income-generating prospects.
- Utilize web analytics instruments to examine website traffic and user demographics to bolster online campaign proposals and client presentations.
- Source, implement, enhance, and assess all components of every media campaign. Act as the connection between planning and implementation.
- Establish all measurement metrics and KPIs for every campaign.
- Deliver quarterly reports on key learnings along with suggestions for upcoming strategies.
What we seek:
- Alumnus of recognized leading universities
- A qualification in advertising, marketing, or a related field will be beneficial.
- Desire to provide assistance and support to Jumia in a customer-oriented position.
- Capacity to thrive in collaborative settings.
- Robust communication and presentation abilities.
- Enthusiastic about marketing, advertising, analytics, data, and technology.
- At least 2+ years of experience in an agency.
- At least 4 or more years in digital advertising sales.
- Desire for roles involving client interaction and digital marketing efforts.
- Should be capable of merging creativity with a business perspective.
- Should have a strong enthusiasm for digital advertising and marketing.
- The capacity to establish and uphold strong connections with client accounts.
- Capable of recognizing and capitalizing on revenue prospects associated with online advertising.
