POSITION: Field Services Manager, West Africa

Duties:
- Coordinate, supervise, and direct field services operations in West Africa regions, and oversee a group of Field Service Engineers or Technicians.
- Profit and loss for field services in the area.
- Preparation of quotations for field service and associated offerings for Clients in the area.
- Prompt, secure, efficient, and cost-effective completion of field service tasks in the area.
- Customer relations and communication, expansion of field services operations in the area.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various levels.
- Create and sustain a reporting system for the area.
- Cultivate and inspire staff.
- Assist FLS Spares, Wears, Upgrade & Rebuild operations in the area.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree/diploma in mechanical engineering or related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the mining industry related to the maintenance and operation of mining facilities, along with at least 5 years of management experience and customer interaction.
- In-depth understanding of machinery, products, site functions, and upkeep, particularly mills, crushers, thickeners, pumps, cyclones, and flotation cells.
- Robust knowledge of commerce and finance.
- Strong communication abilities and capacity to engage with clients and internal stakeholders across various levels.
- Capability to travel.
- Outstanding skills in both oral and written communication.
- Skilled in English. Additional language abilities are highly appreciated.
- Grounded in the Microsoft Office ecosystem.
