POSITION: Service Contract Lead
Job Purpose
Oversee the management of relationships with surface and underground mining clients, emphasizing equipment reliability and availability. You will utilize effective planning and systems management to enhance component longevity via condition monitoring and industry-leading practices. A robust dedication to safety and environmental culture is essential, alongside growing the business through Rig-Scan evaluations in the area.
Main Contribution
- Create and sustain customer-oriented technical assistance to guarantee elevated satisfaction.
- Foster a diverse and strong clientele.
- Enhance technical expertise and equipment efficiency by providing value-driven services.
- Support the growth of the parts and service business by implementing Rig-Scan evaluations.
- Launch safety initiatives, update service information, and enhance product features.
- Offer round-the-clock assistance for surface and underground machinery.
- Collaborate with product companies on enhancements and technical service alerts.
- Work together with the Training Lead to create both internal and external training programs.
- Assist the Sales Team with tendering for underground business opportunities.
Skills and Experiences You Provide
- Comprehensive expertise in the maintenance and operation of underground mining machinery (electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, electronic, and RCS).
- Trade-certified in mechanics with specialization in electrical troubleshooting and upkeep.
- Required experience with RCS systems, automation, and technology.
- Thorough understanding of Epiroc offerings for underground, surface mining, and geological drilling.
- Expertise in Epiroc operational methods/systems and digital resources.
- Analytical skills to assess maintenance data, spot trends, and measure machine dependability.
- Demonstrated skill in understanding technical diagrams and schematics.
- Proficiency in root cause investigation (conducted failure analysis) and oil sampling methods.
- Showed understanding of statistical and probability techniques, along with engineering principles.
- Outstanding skills in problem-solving, negotiation, and communication (in both French and English).
- Strong capability to plan and arrange service technician teams securely.
- A strong dedication to ongoing enhancement and an emphasis on reducing downtime.
