Ghanaian Diminutive Actor and entertainer, Don Little has shared an experience he refers to as bitter he experienced at the Kotoka International Airpot.
In an interview with with Zionfelix on the “Uncut” Show, Don Little expressed how furious he was when he was asked to pay an amount of $150 for a COVID-19 test at the airport.
As part of the measures to prevent the spread of the deadly Coronavirus, the Ghanaian government announced that travelers arriving through Kotoka International Airport will pay $150 for testing.
Don Little stated that he heard the news but he thought it was just a mere rumor until he arrived at the Kotoka International Airport where the Immigration officials pressured him in all ways to do the test.
He added that he had done an earlier test before departure so he did not see the reason why he had to conduct another test on his arrival.
The comedian however stated that he was unaware. He stated that no prior communication was relaid to him when he booked his flight ticket.
He expressed that the $150 charge was too high and suggested that the government should have charged $20 or $30 for the test.
The actor who was stuck in the United States of America for some months due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus, pleaded that the government should sometimes think about the poor when coming out with such initiatives.
He then applauded the Communications Director for the President of Ghana, Mr Eugene Arhin and Madam Afia Akoto for the help they offered to him.
