Sensational gospel musician Hermon Cyrus Kwesi Nhyira Oteng, widely recognized as Cwesi Oteng has said that he is the pacesetter for the current Urban Gospel Musicians in Ghana.

Speaking on the “Uncut Show” hosted by Zionfelix, the pastor outlined that his efforts and hard work have paved way for incredible talents like Joe Mettle, MOG, and other Urban Gospel Singers. He continued that his works were able to inspire a whole generation. He also explained that at the time he released “God Dey Bless Me”, he was the sole new age gospel singer. The founder of Flow River Church agreed with the fact that he cannot always be centre of attention since new energies like Joe Mettle, MOG and others have emerged. He however disagreed with the fact that Ghanaians conclude that one is no longer active the moment new talents spring out.

During the conversation, he gladly announced his label, which is the “Flow river record label”. He disclosed that he now does music with his church. Cwesi Oteng went on to say that ever since he opened Flow River Church, they have been able to release two songs under the aforementioned label. He as well hinted that they would be producing hill songs.

The man of God believes that people must be able to do circular music even when they are Christians. He even disclosed that he is mentoring a lady to do dancehall who attends his church. He thinks all a circular musician needs is to be a Christian and to have a pastor.
