Caribbean Climate Leaders Fellowship 2026 in Turkey (Fully Funded)

Applications are open for the Caribbean Climate Leaders Fellowship 2026. The Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre leads this program. Funding comes from the Caribbean Development Bank directly. Two young professionals will join the CCCCC delegation. Fellows attend COP31 in Antalya, Türkiye, this November. The program builds regional climate leadership through hands-on experience.

What the Fellowship Covers

  • Return economy-class airfare to Antalya
  • Hotel accommodation throughout the conference
  • A daily per diem for meals and expenses
  • Official Blue Zone observer accreditation
  • Mentorship before, during, and after COP31

What Fellows Will Do

  • Complete pre-COP preparation and training activities
  • Participate in COP31 sessions and CARICOM Pavilion events
  • Share knowledge with their communities after the conference
  • Build lasting connections across regional climate networks

Who Can Apply

  • Nationals of CARICOM Member States only
  • Must be affiliated with a Caribbean-based organization
  • Should show strong interest in climate and sustainable development
  • Cannot currently serve as an official Party negotiator
  • Must be studying, employed, or actively organizationally involved

Required Materials

  • A current curriculum vitae
  • A written application, 1,200 to 1,500 words
  • Statements covering development, impact, and climate literacy
  • An optional supporting statement from your organization
