Princeton Arts Fellowship 2027 | Call for Applications
Applications are open for two fellowships at Princeton’s Lewis Center. These include the Princeton Arts Fellowship and Hodder Fellowship. This opportunity supports artists showing extraordinary creative promise. This cycle focuses specifically on dance, music, and theater artists. Fellows spend time teaching within Princeton’s vibrant arts community. Formal teaching is generally expected throughout the fellowship term.

Financial Benefits
- $93,000 salary paid annually across both years
Who Can Apply
- Must be an early-career dance, music, or theater artist
- Creative writers and visual artists aren’t eligible this round
- Past Hodder Fellowship recipients cannot apply
- Individuals with strong existing Princeton ties are ineligible
- Cannot fund work toward a PhD or advanced degree
- Princeton PhD holders are not eligible to apply
- Cannot hold concurrent teaching roles elsewhere during the fellowship
- Subject to standard university background check policies
