Fully Funded OHCHR Indigenous Fellowship 2027 in Switzerland

Applications are now open for the OHCHR Indigenous Fellowship 2027. This fully funded program runs four weeks in Geneva, Switzerland. Sessions take place during June and July 2027. Participants gain deep knowledge of UN human rights systems. The training focuses heavily on indigenous rights mechanisms.

As a result, trained fellows can better support their home communities. Training happens in four languages: English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese. Meanwhile, the fellowship covers airfare, living costs, and basic health insurance. Full details appear below.

Who Qualifies

• Additionally, formal education isn’t required to apply.
• Fellows must agree to train others afterward. Specifically, they’ll share knowledge with their home communities.
• Every candidate needs a nomination from an indigenous organization or community. That sponsoring group should have solid, representative membership.
