Harvard LEAD Fellowship 2027/28 | Call for Applications
The Harvard Global Health Institute invites senior global health professionals to apply for the LEAD Fellowship. The program gives experienced leaders time to reflect, build skills, and grow their networks. Applications close on 15 November 2026.

About the Fellowship
The program is highly personalized. Fellows design their own curriculum around their goals and growth areas. Harvard faculty and senior mentors then guide them throughout the year. So far, 26 fellows from 21 countries have joined the program.

Who Can Apply
Candidates nominate themselves. Applicants need the following:
- A Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Full-time work in global health
- At least 10 years of professional experience after their education
- Substantial leadership experience and clear potential
- No full-time fellowship of four months or longer in the past two years
- Eligibility for a J-1 visa and a leave of absence for April 2028
