Canada Immigration Program With The Lowest Fund | The Atlantic Immigration Program

The Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) of Canada is a symbol of chance for skilled foreign workers because it gives them a way to live permanently in the beautiful Atlantic provinces of the country.

Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador are all Atlantic provinces. These provinces have beautiful scenery, thriving local cultures, and strong economies. These areas are known for being friendly and welcoming, so they are happy to have people and families from all over the world join their communities and help them grow.

The Canadian government started the Atlantic Immigration Program, which is a partnership with the Atlantic provinces to draw and keep talented people from around the world. The goal of the program is to deal with demographic problems like a falling birth rate and an aging population by bringing in skilled immigrants who can help these areas’ economies grow in a big way.

Under the AIP, there are three programs:

  • AHSP stands for Atlantic High-Skilled Program.
  • AISP stands for the Atlantic Intermediate-Skilled Program.
  • AIGP stands for the Atlantic International Graduate Program.

Who Can Apply?

Before starting the application process, it’s important to know what you need to do to be eligible for these programs.

Atlantic High-Skilled Program

The AHSP is for people with high skills who have a job offer in one of the Atlantic provinces for at least a year. The candidates must have worked for at least one year in a management, professional, or technical/skilled job in the last three years.

Atlantic Intermediate-Skilled Program

AISP is for people who have been offered a steady job that requires a skill level C. They must have at least a high school diploma and have worked for at least one year in the last three years in a job that required a high school diploma or job-specific training.

Atlantic International Graduate Program

This program is for people who have graduated from a public school in an Atlantic province and earned a degree, diploma, or other credential. The applicants must have a job offer for at least a year.

Please keep in mind that for all three programs, applicants must show proof that they have enough money, that they can speak English or French well, and that they plan to live in the province.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Atlantic Immigration Program, you must

  • Unless you are an international graduate of a recognized post-secondary school in Atlantic Canada, you must have qualifying work experience.
  • Meet or go above the training standards
  • Meet or exceed the language standards and show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family when you get to Canada.
  • You don’t need to show proof if you already live and work in Canada with a legal work permit.

The Application Process

To start the AIP journey, you have to fill out an application step by step.

  • Find a Designated company: The first step is to get a job offer from a designated company in an Atlantic province. A designated boss is one who has been given permission to hire people from other countries.
  • Receive an Endorsement: Once the job offer is made, the employer will connect the candidate with a designated settlement service provider organization for a needs assessment and to make a settlement plan. The job offer will then be backed by the government.
  • Apply for Permanent Residence: The person can apply for permanent residence after getting the certificate. The letter of support must be sent with this application, along with all the other required papers.

After these steps are done, the individual waits for Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to look over the application. At the moment, it takes about 6 months to process, which makes it one of the faster ways to get permanent residency in Canada.
