POSITION: Branch Manager
SUMMARY
Oversees the operations of a branch of the bank. The branch manager’s responsibilities include managing resources and staff, developing and attaining sales goals, delivering customer service, and growing the location’s revenues. Responsible for assigning and directing all work conducted in the branch and overseeing all areas of service. They handle the employees, cultivate a supportive atmosphere, and ensure customer loyalty and proper branch service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train employees and evaluate their performances.
- Create strategies to ensure that sales targets are met.
- Prepare reports on sales.
- Create and maintain relationships with clients.
- Liaise with other branches to share strategies.
- Mentor junior employees and lead a team.

EXPERIENCE
- Providing leadership in steering the affairs of the branch in order to achieve the set goals of the Bank
- Coordinating and controlling operational activities of the branch
- Ensuring the profitability of the branch.
- 124 Banking application will be added advantage
- Ensure acquisition and retention of customers by delivering the best service
- Staff management at the branch
- Preparation of prudential returns.
- Preparing strategic plans, annual financial projections, and any other plans and programs that will impact positively the profitability of the branch.
SKILLS NEEDED
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to strategize and plan ahead.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Analyze financial records, plan and follow a budget.
- Show creative problem-solving.
- Analyze financial records.
- A first degree. A graduate degree is an advantage
- Upwards of three years experience in BSDIs
- Upwards of three years experience in branch operations
- Reports to head office
