Position Overview
AutoShack Ghana seeks a skilled AUTO DIAGNOSTICIAN/ELECTRICIAN to become part of our team.
Duties:
- Setting up new automotive wiring systems.
- Setting up and resolving issues with immobilizer and alarm systems.
- Collecting data from clients regarding problems with their electrical system.
- Identifying electrical problems and suggesting a plan of action.
- Offering clients an estimate of time and expenses for repairs.
- Fixing and substituting defective wiring or electrical systems.
- Maintenance of electrical automotive components.
- Maintaining and fixing electrical systems on farm machinery.
- Keeping a tidy workplace.
- Finalizing job reports and handling documentation.
Required Skills or Experience
- Expertise in automotive troubleshooting, encompassing an understanding of contemporary vehicle electronics, sensors, and computer systems.
- Understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostic methods.
- The capability to identify electrical issues.
- Skill in efficiently operating a diagnostic device to aid in identifying faults.
- Capacity to analyze diagnostic machine codes for precise problem resolution.
- Initiative-driven, technically skilled with a capacity for critical thinking.
- Satisfactory computer usage skills
