1. EARLY CHILDCARE TEACHER

  • Working towards an ACECQA-approved Bachelor of Teaching or Education (Early Childhood).
  • Current ACECQA-approved First Aid Certificate, Asthma Certificate, Anaphylaxis Certificate, and Working with Children Check.
  • For Provisional Teachers, you must be an Accredited Teacher who is actively working towards the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers. Conditional Teachers are invited and supported as well.
  • Must be able to meet the minimal standards for a responsible person as defined by the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
  • Working knowledge of and demonstrated high-quality pedagogical programming skills, including the capacity to include the Early Years Learning Framework, Education and
  • Care Services National Regulations and National Quality Standards
  • Ability to participate in decision-making and problem-solving
  • A demonstrated ability to apply a wide range of interpersonal skills in several teams

2. Child, Family and Community Worker

  • The Child, Family, and Community Worker is responsible for implementing a variety of interventions (one-on-one assistance, group work, and community-based) targeted at improving the emotional health and well-being of children and young people.

3. Childcare Attendant

Responsibilities

The Childcare Attendant will provide educational programs for children as well as related services for the benefit of the community, staff, and company. Providing a safe operation that caters to the needs and interests of all children. Childcare is available. Changeover times: Monday – 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 Friday – 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and Saturday – 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., with the possibility of extending hours to accommodate the center’s busiest peak seasons.

  • Meet each child’s requirements on time and build relationships with their parents.
  • Participate in the development of a safe, educational, and age-appropriate education program.
  • Follow all legal regulations.
  • Completing Incident Reports and assisting with incident and accident investigations
  • Comply with the provisions of the Center/Club Emergency Plan.
  • Implement policies and procedures for safety, health, risk, and the environment.
  • The position is from 0900 to 1200 Monday through Friday, but the selected applicant must be flexible during extended holiday hours and peak seasonal seasons.

Attributes and skills:

  • Motivated, energetic, and inventive
  • Outstanding verbal communication abilities
  • Childcare Certificate (LL) or equivalent
  • Understanding of the Children’s Services Regulations
  • Relevant job experience with children
  • Police clearance must be obtained.
  • Working with Vulnerable Children
  • CPR and Senior First Aid
  • Asthma Management Training (recommended but not required) Anaphylaxis
  • Management Training

Guidelines for Obtaining Legal Work in Australia

The following documents can be used to prove your permission to work in Australia:

  • Proof of permanent resident status
  • Temporary visa with work authorization
  • Passport from Australia or New Zealand
  • Australian citizenship certificate
  • Birth certificate from Australia

If these documents are presented as evidence and there is no photograph, a photograph, such as one from a driver’s license, will be required.

The following documents are not sufficient proof of legal permission to work:

  • Tax Identification Number

  • License to drive
