POSITION: Accounts Officer
Profile of the Company
Atlantic Group consists of a Holding Company (Atlantic International Holding Co.) and four fully owned subsidiaries: Atlantic Computers & Electronics Ltd, Atlantic Control Climate Ltd, Atlantic Works Ltd, and The Office Furniture Company. The Atlantic Group has been catering to clients throughout Ghana for more than thirty years. The Group is a varied and progressive organization with knowledge in four business areas – Power Transmission and Distribution, Air Conditioning and Ventilation, IT Solutions and Services, and Office Furniture.
Position Details
The Accounts Officer will oversee daily financial activities, guarantee adherence to local laws, and enhance operational productivity. The position requires managing accounting documentation, executing transactions, generating financial statements, and guaranteeing compliance with statutory and tax regulations.
Duties
- Small cash payments and entries in Evolution for recording.
- Balancing the bank statements with the cash book for all bank accounts.
- Compile a weekly report detailing all cash received and spent.
- Additional duties that may be assigned by the Financial Controller or Accounts Manager occasionally.
Required Skills or Experience
Education
- HND in Accountancy
Abilities or Experience
- 4 to 8 years of experience
- Expertise in MS Excel
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Meticulous.
- Robust communication abilities.
- Robust analytical abilities and focus on specifics.
- Capacity to function autonomously while collaborating within a group.
- Strong record maintenance abilities.
- Capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowing Occupational Health and Safety is beneficial.
