The Fisheries Commission invites applications from interested and qualified persons for the under listed positions:
1. FISH HEALTH, POST – HARVEST AND EXTENSION SERVICES DIVISION (FPE)
POSITION
– SENIOR FPE MANAGER
JOB PURPOSE
– To provide technical and operational support in FPE for the achievement of the objectives of the commission.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Direct Entry
* A minimum of a master’s degree from an accredited tertiary institution in Fisheries, Aquaculture Sciences or any related field.
* Must pass a competitive selection interview conducted by the Fisheries Commission in collaboration with the Public Services Commission.
2. AQUACULTURE DIVISION/ CAPTURE FISHERIES DIVISION
POSITION
– ASSISTANT AQUACULTURE MANAGER/ASSISTANT CAPTURE FISHERIES MANAGER.
JOB PURPOSE
– To provide operational support in Aquaculture and Capture Fisheries for the achievement of the objectives of the Commission.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Direct Entry
* A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited tertiary institution in Fisheries, Aquaculture Sciences or any related field.
* Must have completed National Service.
* Must pass a competitive selection interview conducted by the Fisheries Commission in collaboration with the Public Services Commission.
3. HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT DIVISION
POSITION
-ASSISTANT HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER
JOB POSITION
* To provide operational support in Human Resource Management for the achievement of the objectives of the Commission.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Direct Entry
* A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited tertiary institution in Human Resource Management or any related field.
* Must have completed National Service.
* Must pass a competitive selection interview conducted by the Fisheries Commission in collaboration with the Public Services Commission.
