A media Organisation is seeking to recruit professional and innovative individuals with the imagination and determination to deliver a clear direction and excellent services to its customers/clients and other stakeholders as follows:
POSITION: Marketing Executive
REPORT TO: Group Head, Marketing
STATION: Accra
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (Include)
The marketing executive will assist the Head of Marketing Creative Director in all tasks – including all campaigns events, digital marketing and PR for companies in the group. The executive will also play the role of a traffic officer and be responsible for the flow of work in and out of the marketing/creative departme Other responsibilities will include
Conceptualising and developing marketing campaigns Conducting audience and competitor research to inform strategy
Devising and presenting ideas and strategies Planning and staging Promotional activities Writing and proofreading creative copy
Developing ideas for promotions for graphics team
Contributing ideas consistently to help build all MG brands
Developing content for existing shows and ideas for new shows for TV and radio Developing ideas for all-media creatives
Liaising with commercial to monetise all content and marketing interventions
Liaising with digital to create content and campaigns for social media Putting together presentations for all marketing interventions Monitoring all persons and departments that report to marketing, including makeup and sets
Performing any other duties that will help grow the different brands in the company
NB Advertising agency experience is key
KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES
Coming up with creative promos and montages for all shows on TV and radio
Developing marketing interventions that promote all Media General brands effectively and influence revenue and share of audience Creating innovative advertising campaigns
Adherence to all rules and regulations of the Company
QUALIFICATION SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of HND in Marketing or Business Administration or its equivalent
A minimum of two (2) years working experience in media branding or in a similar role
Effective report writing skills Ability to stay updated through experience and acquiring more knowledge on the job
Must be a good team player
Effective communication skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours
