Fan Milk Limited, a multinational manufacturing company in the food and
beverages industry is urgently looking for an experienced and results-oriented
person for the position of Packaging Manager.
This position is pivotal within the R&I space, driving innovation, productivity
and renovation delivery. Reporting to the Product Development Manager, the
Packaging Manager will:
1. Lead the packaging innovation process by proposing, developing and
implementing packaging solutions
2. Research and develop new materials, shapes and lines for Fan Milk
portfolio of brands and products
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, other Danone
subsidiaries, factories and manufacturing partners and other applicable
technology sources
4. Create and maintain packaging specifications for all brands
5. Structure, organize and carry out trials in an industrial environment
6. Ensure quality of first production run where new packaging is
employed, and conduct plant training to ensure continuity
The ideal candidate must:
• Possess at least a good first degree in Food Science, Food Technology or
Mechanical, Material or Chemical Engineering with orientation towards packaging
development.
• Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work
environment
• Demonstrate leadership in managing cross-functional teams involving
Marketing, Sales, Procurement and Manufacturing in the development of
new products
• Be an excellent planner with the ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge
of French will be an advantage
• Have excellent computer, numeracy and analytical skills
• Have strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with an eye on cost
management
