The University of Calgary’s 2023 overseas Entrance Scholarship application period is now open to all interested overseas applicants.
The coveted University of Calgary International Entry Scholarship is awarded to international students beginning their undergraduate studies at the institution in the Fall term in appreciation of their remarkable achievements. One prerequisite for the Scholarship is academic excellence, but there are additional accomplishments that must be taken into account.
Information about International Entrance Scholarships at the University of Calgary

- Level and/or field(s) of study: Any subject at the bachelor’s degree
- Eligible Candidates: International students who are not citizens or legal permanent residents of Canada.
- The course begins in the Fall of 2023.
- Date: 1 December/1 March (Annual)
General Requirements:
- Firstly, if an international student plans to enroll full-time in an undergraduate degree program that starts in the fall semester, they must fill out an application.
- Secondly, freshmen were required of them.
- Scholarship applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.20.
- Students also needed to have complied with the university’s standards for English language competency.
Scholarship Advantages
The $15,000 prize is open to University of Calgary second, third, and fourth-year students who have a 2.60 GPA or higher and have taken at least 24.00 units in the previous fall and winter terms. A four-year undergraduate degree will set you back $60,000 in total.
Application Guidelines:
As soon as your admissions application is received, you can start applying for prizes. Early admission applications for Fall 2022 admission are due on December 1, 2023, while regular admission applications are due on March 1, 2024.
