Processing time for UK Visit visas

A visit visa to the UK will take 15 days to process, while priority visas will just take 5 days. After the pandemic, there was an upsurge in travel, which caused a backlog in immigration. As a result, travelers such as employees, visitors, and students must make new travel arrangements.

Visitor visas were issued to 258,000 Indians, a 630 percent increase from the previous year.
Indian citizens also received about 103,000 work visas, along with invites for seasonal and skilled employees. The number of invitations for work visas increased by 148%.
