POSITION: Executive Assistant
MTN Ghana seeks a proficient Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Chief Digital Officer (CDO). This role also involves delivering routine support to all departments within the Digital Division. You will operate in a highly dynamic telecommunications environment shaped by global technology trends and a performance-driven culture.
Job Responsibilities and Role
- You will ensure the efficient management of the CDO’s office and divisional coordination.
- Schedule and manage the CDO’s calendar, including meetings, appointments, and digital divisional sessions.
- Coordinate stakeholder communications, send meeting requests, and distribute agendas and minutes.
- Answer calls and handle queries with the utmost professionalism.
- Arrange all travel and accommodation logistics for the CDO and divisional staff as required.
- Manage the CDO’s and direct reports’ leave schedules and track departmental expenses, including IOUs and petty cash.
- Provide administrative support for divisional incentives, recruitment follow-ups with HR, and new employee orientation.
- Maintain an accurate filing system for easy document retrieval and oversee office stationery management.
- Receive visitors courteously and coordinate their logistical needs.
- Prepare monthly reports and coordinate ad hoc office projects.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Administration or a related field.
- Have at least three years of relevant experience in a similar executive support role.
- Previous experience within a Telecommunications or Digital environment is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrate professional competencies in project management and stakeholder management.
- Exhibit excellent typing skills, computer literacy, and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, including good reporting and business writing abilities.
- Have knowledge of standard office practices, good telephone etiquette, and skills in operating office machinery.
