POSITION: Chief Financial Officer
Position Overview
We seek a seasoned Chief Financial Officer or CFO to manage risks efficiently and devise the financial strategy for the organization. This role is complex and crucial, as an organization can only thrive by diligently monitoring and protecting its financial resources.
A CFO needs to be knowledgeable in every area of financial management, encompassing everything from basic accounting to extensive investment and banking activities. The perfect candidate will be a strong leader, as all relevant departments of the organization will report to them.
The objective is to safeguard the firm’s income and earnings to attain complete financial oversight and lasting expansion.
Duties
- Lead the organization’s financial strategy
- Conduct risk management through the assessment of the organization’s obligations and assets.
- Determine investment approaches by evaluating cash flow and liquidity challenges.
- Oversee and assess the organization’s fundraising strategies and financial framework.
- Make certain that cash flow is suitable for the operations of the organization.
- Oversee all financial staff (controllers, treasurers, etc.)
- Oversee connections with vendors
- Generate dependable present and predictive reports
- Establish and manage the organization’s financial IT infrastructure.
- Guarantee adherence to legal requirements and company regulations
- Oversee a group of financial analysts and controllers.
Qualifications Required & Experience
- Demonstrated experience as CFO, finance director, or a similar position
- Extensive understanding of corporate finance legislation and risk management strategies.
- Strong understanding of data evaluation and predictive techniques
- Skilled in utilizing MS Office and financial management applications (e.g. SAP)
- Capability to devise strategies and address challenges
- Effective leadership and organizational abilities
- Outstanding communication abilities and interpersonal skills
- A logical thinker, at ease with figures
- Having a CPA is a significant benefit.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related area; a Master’s degree/MBA is advantageous
