POSITION: Business Development Representative (Remote)

Job Summary
We are seeking a Business Development Representative for Europe. We will educate the chosen candidate(s) on creating outbound sales tactics, handling customer relations, and utilizing technical resources for efficient communication. You will be tasked with spotting possible conversion chances (with ample support), managing sales opportunities, and building lasting relationships with important decision-makers in the sector.
This is a fantastic chance for an individual who excels in a goal-oriented setting and has a love for resolving issues. BDR career trajectories can lead to sales or marketing since a significant portion of the role relies on your research expertise and writing skills.
The BDR position will be part of an established team and will have a specific geographic focus, working closely with the sales team in that area on a daily basis.
What You Will Accomplish
- Utilize MinIO’s intelligent systems to discover possible prospects and create leads.
- Create tactics to transform the large community of open source users of MinIO into paying clients.
- Create tactics to draw new enterprise clients to the MinIO value offering.
- Develop imaginative, tailored emails and email series to express the benefits of a business partnership aimed at securing meetings and opportunities. Work alongside internal teams to develop engaging sales presentations and proposals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, rivals, and market dynamics.
- Offer suggestions and observations to the sales and marketing team to improve lead generation efforts.
- Regularly evaluate the information on the task, perpetually enhancing it.
- Oversee the complete sales process, from identifying prospects to finalizing deals, while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Leverage the complete range of technology tools (SFDC, Hubspot, Outreach) to monitor interactions, advancements, and conversions.
Your Expertise and Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in the software sector, emphasizing data infrastructure SaaS offerings.
- Exceptional writing and verbal communication abilities, proficient in captivating and convincing C-level executives.
- Extremely inventive method for sales and resolving issues, with a history of achieving or surpassing sales goals.
- Expertise in email sequencing and systems, along with a solid grasp of digital communication technologies.
- Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Software, Data Analytics, or a similar discipline.
- Proficiency in both English and German is a significant advantage
