POSITION: Teachers
North Ridge Lyceum LTD, a private Christian primary and junior high school in Accra, has openings for teachers in the subjects of Maths, Science, Computing, and English.
Duties:
- Creating and distributing educational materials such as notes, quizzes, and assignments.
- Overseeing classes to guarantee that every student is learning in a secure and efficient atmosphere.
- Arranging materials and assets for talks and demonstrations.
- Providing tailored teaching to each student through fostering participatory learning.
- Designing and executing educational programs and events.
- Keeping your classroom tidy and organized.
- Creating and disseminating regular progress reports and semester grading summaries.
- Participating in parent-teacher conferences.
- Assessing and recording students’ advancement.
- Distributing and assessing homework, projects, and examinations.
Qualifications Needed & Experience
- Candidates are required to hold a First Degree in Education or a Post Graduate Diploma in Education, along with at least 3 years of teaching experience after qualification (Experience as Head of Department or Assistant will be considered a plus).
- Proficiency in computers and a strong grasp of the English language are prerequisites for every role.
