The Sales Manager is responsible for increasing Gas Tech Equipment orders in his/her designated region (West African Countries such as Senegal, Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, Mauritania) while optimizing profitability and enhancing market share.
She/He will collaborate closely with Customers and EPCs to enhance relationships and ensure the execution of the Company strategy. She/he possesses extensive expertise in the complete sales process, excelling in generating leads, cultivating relationships, and closing deals.
In the role of Sales Manager, you will be:
- Increasing Gas Tech Equipment orders with designated clients
- Achieving the yearly Orders Plan by obtaining profitable orders.
- Establishing and fostering robust, enduring connections with clients by collaborating with them and comprehending their requirements.
- Effectively representing the company with a thorough understanding of our products.
- Enhancing the competitiveness of Baker Hughes solutions to achieve the appropriate market share level in line with the company’s strategy.
- Promoting the market introduction of innovative products and technologies being developed in close collaboration with the Strategy & Growth team.
- Assisting in predicting the yearly budget to achieve regional sales goals.
- Recognize emerging markets and changes in the market while staying informed about new products and the status of competitors.

To achieve success in this position, you need to:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or college, ideally in Engineering.
- Possess at least 5 more years of experience in Sales within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Be proficient in English and French, both spoken and written.
- Possess the ability to connect, persuade, and motivate various external and internal stakeholders.
- Should be a self-motivated individual capable of taking initiative independently.
- Possess outstanding presentation abilities.
- Be open to and capable of traveling widely.
- Function in a manner that suits you best.
