POSITION: FMCG – Sales Executive

Legendary Foods leads in food technology, creating alternative protein products to meet the protein demands of West & Central Africa through innovative insect farming.
Based in Ghana, our goal is to transform protein consumption and enhance protein access by improving our agricultural technology, launching cutting-edge products, and broadening our market reach throughout Africa and beyond.
Role Description:
Legendary Foods seeks a dedicated person to head the organization’s sales department, boost FMCG sales growth, guide sales strategy, and act as a business leader within the organization.
Responsibilities of the position:
Sales Position
- Tasked with creating, implementing, overseeing, and adjusting sales strategy.
- Evaluate and apply strategies to boost B2C and B2B sales
- Discover new channels and create distribution strategies for regional and global markets.
- Recognize shortcomings or opportunities for enhancement in existing sales channels.
- Work with business analysts to obtain significant sales data for strategic use.
- Sets targets for volume and revenue to optimize the Company’s profitability.
- Oversee and implement the company’s credit policies
Participate in Dynamic Selling
- Methodically pinpointing prospective B2C and B2B clients to expand small to large business accounts by initiating and finalizing the sales of products.
- Sustaining a professional network of prospective clients/customers and business prospects.
- Increase revenue by identifying prospects, making cold calls, and securing favorable agreements.
- Organization of Marketing Events & Promotional Activities
- Developing and conveying product promotions and exclusive sales to clients.
- Develop and implement carefully planned targeted marketing strategies and promotional events to enhance product visibility, attract customers, and boost sales.
- Work together with retailers to enhance product visibility through strategic placements, shelf arrangements, and signage.
- Seeking new opportunities by spotting potential advertising campaigns and finalizing agreements.
Oversee Clients + Client Responses
- Precisely document and log customer grievances, collaborate with relevant internal teams to convey accurate details.
- Address product or service issues by understanding the customer’s complaint; identifying the root cause of the issue; choosing and describing the most effective solution to resolve it; facilitating the necessary correction or adjustment; and subsequently following up to guarantee resolution.
- Lastly, collaborating with field sales, retailers, and wholesalers to comprehend product needs and constraints.
Stock Control
- Assisting every member of the sales team to promote growth and advancement.
- Oversee and engage in inventory management to prevent theft, ensure food safety, and enhance profitability.
Extra duties as needed.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Essential Abilities:
- Experience in active sales within the FMCG sector
- Skilled in overseeing connections with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
- Client Engagement, Customer Loyalty, Market Analysis.
- Capability to handle multiple tasks (not at a single time but across days and weeks), prioritize, and utilize time efficiently.
- Focus on customers and capacity to adjust/react to various personality types.
- Demonstrated experience in customer support
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
- Capability to function in a high-speed setting
- Capacity to shift and adjust, deploy resources swiftly
- Motivated by outcomes and revenue
- Should be prepared to relocate and journey to busy and warm locations
- Strong sense of integrity.
