POSITION: Coordinator Sales Execution

Position Summary: 

Sales Execution interacts directly with clients to foster, secure, and sustain the most lucrative business for Hapag-Lloyd in alignment with the organization’s goals. Also, sales Execution aims to generate maximum contributions for Hapag-Lloyd by preserving and improving Hapag-Lloyd’s customer base through providing products that meet customers’ requirements. Sales Execution collaborates with Sales Steering, Sales Support, Customer Service, Operations, and Finance. Main difficulties and contentment arise from grasping the customers’ desires and requirements, accommodating customer demands, and staying within budget.

Main Duties:

  • Overseeing and expanding our personal portfolio of clients and prospects
  • Addressing MR and Geo-From clients (Push-Pull) as outlined in the Area Sales Steering framework and creating a budget for the assigned region.
  • Concentrating on medium and large clients while nurturing current customers, managing and sustaining all accounts in the designated region.
  • Engaging with clients in personal meetings to cultivate, ensure, and sustain the most lucrative business.
  • Executing MR planning and evaluating account performance as outlined in the Area Sales Process.
  • Executing account planning and formulating an account strategy featuring an action plan to cultivate customers/opportunities.
  • Managing involvement in tender requests from our clients and addressing feedback on those tenders.
  • Engaging in weekly coaching meetings with the Country Manager to assess previous sales efforts and coordinate future actions.
  • Engaging with customers via designated Sales channels (e.g., refrigerated, imported)
  • Managing credit applications in collaboration with Sales Management and Finance.
  • Provide insights regarding market data.
  • Guarantee a proper transfer to sales coordination and collaborate closely as a team with sales coordination.
  • Creating visit plans and visit reports, and entering them in the CRM.

Requirements:

  • Sales mindset / assertive / bargaining and finalizing abilities
  • Skill to collaborate within a team
  • Conversational
  • E-commerce proficiency
  • Familiarity with user application systems (MS Office, Scout, Compass, FIS, SAM)
  • Strong proficiency in both spoken and written English
  • Driven by personal motivation to achieve results and maintain organization.
