The Position

  • Overseeing all marketing and PR efforts for the company, encompassing digital marketing tactics, external branding, and internal materials to aid student recruitment while ensuring a positive return on investment.
  • Implement strategic marketing initiatives for both the short and long term that optimize the returns on essential program goals.
  • Collaborates with various departments at the University to create strategies that enhance awareness and interest, boost student applications, and increase enrollment for Lancaster Ghana’s Foundation, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate programs.
  • Create, execute, and carry out yearly marketing strategies and plans, ensuring that marketing initiatives align with TAG’s goals and strategies.
  • Conduct research and market analysis to assist LUG’s business strategies/plans.
  • Oversee the yearly marketing/communication advertising budget; obtain budget authorization and handle it efficiently according to goals.
  • Develop and apply branded messaging across all content to guarantee that the consumer voice and essential brand elements are correctly and uniformly reflected in our communication channels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance engagement with important audience groups, create and direct initiatives that bolster new and existing strategies and tactics.
  • Enhance the comprehension of the potential student audience/market via surveys and focus groups. Utilize insights to suggest creative opportunities that will guide both upstream and downstream marketing efforts.

Required Skills or Experience

  • A graduate degree in marketing, Marketing Communications, an MBA (Marketing track), or a comparable field
  • Certification in marketing, such as CIM, and others.
  • Professional Certification in Advertising
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience after qualification.
