POSITION: Vehicle Body Specialist

Zonda Tec Ghana Limited is a Ghanaian automobile company certified with ISO 9001, focusing on the sale and distribution of heavy and light-duty vehicles, and operates more than seven (7) branches throughout the major business areas of the Republic of Ghana. The business that started in 2018 has been flourishing due to the increasing demand for heavy-duty trucks and various lightweight vehicles stemming from growth in the transportation sector, construction, mining, and more.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the harm to the vehicle’s exterior and identify the best repair techniques.
- Eliminate dents and dings with the use of specialized instruments like hammers and dollies.
- Substitute impaired auto body components, such as panels and bumpers.
- Smooth, abrade, and shine surfaces for painting preparation.
- Combine and utilize paint to replicate the car’s original hue.
- Make certain that replaced body parts are correctly aligned and fitted.
- Install windshields and various glass elements.
- Work together with fellow technicians to finish repairs effectively.
- Keep your workspace tidy and well-organized.
- Offer cost assessments for repairs to clients or insurance providers.
- Adhere to safety and environmental guidelines at the workplace.
Required Qualifications or Experience
- Prior experience in auto body repair or a similar area.
- Certification from a vocational school or training course
- Skill in using auto body repair tools and machinery.
- Knowledge of industry norms and optimal procedures.
- Capability to lift and handle large components and machinery.
- Understanding of painting and refinishing methods.
- Fundamental knowledge of vehicle frameworks and repair methods
