POSITION: Counselling, Teaching and Learning Program’s Assistant

Position Overview
Lincoln Community School ranks among the top American International Schools in Africa, currently accommodating around 560 students from roughly 60 diverse nationalities. The School aims to hire an Assistant for the Counselling and Teaching and Learning Program who will offer daily administrative assistance to Teaching and Learning Coordinators and Secondary School counselors in their regular interactions with students, families, and staff.
Required Skills or Qualifications
QUALIFICATION
- Qualification in any area.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND CAPABILITIES
- At least 2 years of experience in an administrative position.
- Experience in a school environment (preferred).
Duties and Responsibilities
- Tasked with refreshing records and entering information on different educational software systems, including IBIS, Toddle, Kognity, and InThinking, as instructed by the IBDP Teaching and Learning Coordinator.
- Accountable for all administrative tasks related to IBDP assessments. Supporting the Educational Leadership Team with essential logistics during external accreditation assessments. Keeping current audits and curriculum maps as required by the Office of Teaching and Learning.
- Overseeing the Counseling Office front desk to welcome and arrange visitors, handle phone calls, and arrange appointments for the Counselors.
- Helping in the preparation of support materials (transcript, secondary school report, counselor recommendation, LCS profile, etc.) to be submitted to colleges and universities.
- Adjusting the schedule and incorporating classes in Toddle, as indicated by counselors.
- Handling and organizing recommendation forms, letters, and grades for departing students.
