POSITION: Finance Senior
Job Summary
As a part of the Consulting Finance team, you will need to assist in the transformation of our clients’ finance operations by delivering creative solutions to redesign accounting policies and procedures, internal controls, and risk management processes. Moreover, you will examine how the implementation of new technologies and reporting tools, such as ERP and data analytics tools, can improve reporting processes. We are looking for a finance expert to serve as a consultant, assisting in the transformation of our clients’ finance operations in the private sector, through innovative services designed to increase the value of our clients’ enterprises.
Main Duties
Client Obligations
- Be involved in delivering engagement.
- Engage proactively in market enhancement initiatives.
- Contribute insights and ideas proactively while helping to create high-quality project reports.
- Engage in research and assist in advancing the private sector finance portfolio.
- Stay updated on the latest industry and economic trends pertinent to our client’s business.
- Exhibit elevated levels of technical and professional expertise.
- Utilize technology and resources for ongoing learning and innovation, exchange knowledge with colleagues, and improve service delivery.
Skills and Knowledge Required
To qualify for the role, you must have the following:
- Experience in consulting is greatly sought after.
- Minimum of five years’ experience implementing change in a Finance function setting – acquired through previous roles in consulting, or working in the private or public sector/government parastatal in operational finance or accounting.
- Comprehension of finance procedures and financial technology, encompassing but not restricted to ERP, reporting/Visualization platforms, and instruments.
- Experience with ERP systems, including SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, Sage, and others.
- Robust abilities in written and spoken communication, presentation, and technical writing.
- Exhibit collaboration, honesty, and guidance.
Academic and Educational Credentials
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, mathematics, statistics, economics, or business administration from a respected institution.
- A professional accounting certification (CA Ghana, ACCA, or CIMA) is advantageous.
- A higher degree from a respected institution will be an advantage.
