POSITION: Sales Manager
Job Summary
In your role as the Sales Manager for the Mining division in Ghana, you will promote growth by fostering customer relationships and discovering new opportunities. This position is completely remote, as we do not possess a physical office. You will work alongside the sales team, advocate for the Element brand, and travel frequently to engage with customers and assist at exhibitions.
Your primary duties will include:
- Engage regularly with current clients to uphold robust connections.
- Supervise sales operations for the Mining sector in Ghana;
- Regularly travel to meet with clients, directly addressing their needs and serving as the main contact to guarantee quick replies to questions, concerns, and requests;
- Advertise the Element brand via campaigns and involvement in trade shows;
- Examine the market, strategize product usage, and collect information on existing equipment inventory in accordance with ERP specifications;
- Assist in the preparation of the yearly sales budget, applying initiatives in strategic planning, client management, and business growth to achieve sales objectives and increase market presence;
- Log sales and customer information in the CRM system, working in close partnership with the sales team;
- Collaborate with the Operations team to guarantee seamless product delivery and enhance customer satisfaction;
- Oversee quotes, orders, and sales agreements in collaboration with the order desk and product support teams;
- Track customer receivables and pursue as necessary;
- Recognize possible sales chances and suggest methods to attract new clients.
- Begin product development initiatives driven by customer input and requirements;
- Offer consistent updates to the Business Manager located in Portugal.
We are seeking an individual who has:
- 1-2 years of work experience in a professional setting;
- Experience in the mining sector is greatly valued;
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, ideally in Mechanical or Mineral Processing;
- An enthusiastic, driven, and self-motivated approach, possessing excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities;
- Expertise in both verbal and written English; mastery of French is an advantage;
- Desire and capacity to travel 30-40% of the time;
- Knowledge of ERP, CRM, and other key sales tools, along with a readiness to learn
