POSITION: FFB Data Agents

Position Overview

We are looking for a Farmer Field Book (FFB) Data Agent to assist with its Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) tasks. The FFB Data Agent will be tasked with (i) overseeing data collection for impact evaluations, (ii) involving stakeholders in all impact evaluation initiatives, and (iii) verifying data quality within the designated districts.

Main Duties

• Guiding data gathering for impact evaluations.
• Check in with farmers to guarantee daily updates of field forms.
• Perform on-the-spot data gathering for evaluating the effects of different projects.
• Gather comprehensive farm-level information on practices, outputs, and inputs through digital tools.
• Reporting and stakeholder involvement
• Engage in creating impact assessment reports for stakeholders.
• Guarantee training/comprehension of Farmers according to the requirements of impact assessments.
• Deliver the impact report to farmers and agricultural groups.
• Guaranteeing the quality of data gathered in designated communities
• Support the field team with application configurations and management of data collection tools.
• Regularly monitor to guarantee the effective operation of data collection tools.
• Oversee data quality and confirm program execution.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Abilities and Credentials

• Degree/Diploma in statistics, economics, data science, agronomy, or a related field with two years of pertinent experience.
• English proficiency is essential, and fluency in the local language in cocoa-producing regions is advantageous.
• Proficient in data collection, analysis, and presentation software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Skilled in training individuals in both quantitative and qualitative data gathering.
• Knowledge of data gathering technologies and mobile tools (ODK, Appsheets, Google Forms).
• Strong project management, planning, and organizational abilities.
• Legitimate motorbike operator’s permit.
• Demonstrated experience in remote, rural regions.
