Job Description
We Are Seeking Legal Counsel
Main Duties
- Perform detailed legal research, evaluate results, and offer perspectives to assist in decision-making.
- Examine and create legal documents, contracts, and agreements carefully.
- Manage Company Secretarial responsibilities, encompassing Board assistance and compliance submissions.
- Show expertise in two or more legal fields, including Fintech, Technology, Banking & Finance, Real Estate, or the Downstream Energy sector.
- Carry out legal and corporate secretarial duties autonomously while maintaining rigorous ethical standards.
- Guarantee adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and industry benchmarks.
- Outlines internal governance regulations
- Performs regular compliance evaluations.
- Prepares and evaluates the legality of transactions, contracts, agreements, and partnerships.
- Tracks changes in laws and regulations.
- Collaborates with executive officers and chief legal counsel to execute legal strategies and standards.
- Oversees legal budget
- Counsels on intricate legal issues
- Collaborates with outside attorneys to evaluate legal matters.
Required Skills or Experience
- A professional legal certification is required at a minimum.
- 4-5 years of experience after qualification in a comparable position.
- Outstanding analytical, writing, and communication abilities.
- Thorough understanding of corporate law, regulatory adherence, and governance.
