Role Overview
We are looking for a forward-thinking and results-driven Headmaster to guide our school into its upcoming stage of development and creativity. The successful applicant will deliver strategic direction, uphold elevated teaching and learning standards, and foster a safe, disciplined, and motivating atmosphere for both staff and students.
Main Duties
- Offer comprehensive leadership and oversight of the school’s academic and administrative operations.
- Oversee and guide both teaching and non-teaching personnel to reach established objectives.
- Monitor curriculum execution and verify compliance with national educational standards.
- Encourage discipline, ethical growth, and scholarly achievement in students.
- Involve parents, the community, and stakeholders to improve the school’s reputation and collaboration.
- Effectively and transparently oversee school resources.
- Maintain adherence to child protection and safeguarding policies
Qualifications and Requirements
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.) or a related area; having a Master’s Degree is beneficial.
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience and 3 years in a leadership or administrative position in an accredited school.
- Robust understanding of the policies and curriculum of the Ghana Education Service (GES).
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated success in enhancing academic achievement and overseeing school management.
