POSITION: Airport Services Duty Officer
Job Description

In this position, you will oversee and manage flight-handling tasks, including flight editing, check-in, transfers, and boarding, to maintain a high level of service quality. You will attain maximum customer satisfaction and timely departure of flights. You will additionally maintain overall oversight of the shift as a direct representative of the Airport Services Manager. Furthermore, you will also guarantee the timely and safe execution of all Qatar Airways operations.
Particular Responsibilities
- Making sure that the handling of passengers and aircraft adheres to safety and security regulations.
- Guaranteeing that all QR aircraft handling protocols are fulfilled on a shift-to-shift basis.
- Guaranteeing the effective distribution of personnel and resources in airport operations.
- Conducting inspections to verify that proper standards are upheld.
- Addressing customer issues and grievances during shifts and collaborating with all departments, including Customer Relations, to offer solutions for managing complaints.
- Coordinating ramp handling operations in collaboration with GHA, Caterers, Fueling, Maintenance, Cargo, and Crew to accelerate departure.

Qualifications
The ideal applicant will possess these qualifications and skills:
- At least 4 years of pertinent experience in an airline or well-regarded Ground Handling Operations in a supervisory role.
- Outstanding communication abilities with proficiency in the English language.
- Understanding of Weight and Balance, Ramp operations, and Hazardous Materials Regulations.
- Capable of executing tasks under stress while upholding the utmost standards of customer service.
- Strong grasp of transport conditions and international safety and security protocols.
- Experience in fields like Passenger Services, Baggage Handling, Ground Operations, Dangerous Goods Regulations, and ramp operations.
- Advanced proficiency in computer skills.
- Outstanding customer orientation and service provision.
