POSITION: Mathematics Teacher
DUTIES
We are seeking a committed and skilled math instructor to become a part of our team. As a math instructor, you will need to provide lessons that enhance students’ theoretical and practical mathematical abilities. Additionally, you will handle the assignment of homework, evaluation of assignments and quizzes, and recording students’ progress.
To achieve success as a math teacher, you must have a deep knowledge of effective teaching methods. Our perfect candidate will have the ability to develop an engaging learning atmosphere that addresses students’ psychosocial requirements.
Duties:
- Organizing and delivering lessons to enhance students’ comprehension and use of mathematical concepts.
- Creating and sharing educational resources like notes, tasks, and tests.
- Obtaining the materials and supplies required for lessons.
- Making sure the classroom stays safe and promotes learning.
- Evaluating assignments and quizzes promptly.
- Supervising quizzes and final tests.
- Recording and communicating students’ advancement.
- Participating in meetings with parents and staff.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- A subject expert at the graduate level with a teaching credential
- Preferred is a minimum teaching experience at a respected institution.
- Commitment to the role, effective management and order in the classroom, along with strong relationships with students, are the attributes sought after.
