POSITION: Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager is tasked with discovering new business prospects, fostering and maintaining client relationships, and promoting revenue expansion throughout all areas of the company’s real estate activities. This position demands a thorough comprehension of the real estate sector and a strategic approach to grow the company’s portfolio and clientele.

Main Duties:

Commercial Expansion & Strategic Planning

  • Discover and chase new business ventures in property management, real estate leasing/selling, and construction.
  • Create and execute strategic initiatives to promote growth and expand the market.
  • Perform market analysis to uncover trends, consumer requirements, and competitor behaviour.
  • Create prospects and transform them into enduring business partnerships.
  • Create proposals, presentations, and business pitches for potential clients.

Client Relationship Management

  • Establish and nurture robust connections with real estate owners, investors, corporate customers, and governmental organizations.
  • Act as the primary contact for client interactions and satisfaction.
  • Consistently engage with current clients to identify further business prospects.

Collaboration & Connections

  • Form strategic alliances with real estate agents, developers, contractors, and other important stakeholders.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking gatherings to advocate for the company.

Sales and Income Expansion

  • Boost sales for real estate rentals and sales, facility management, and construction, guaranteeing the accomplishment of established goals.
  • Work together with different teams to create successful marketing campaigns.
  • Track and provide updates on performance indicators and KPIs.

Collaboration Across Functions

  • Collaborate closely with operations, facility management, construction, and marketing teams to match client requirements with service provision.
  • Lastly, gather market feedback to guide service development and enhancement.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Count of newly gained clients
  • Income earned from both new and current accounts.
  • Customer retention and satisfaction levels
  • Increase in property holdings and overseen assets
  • Effective conversion rate from prospects to agreements

Required Skills or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in business development. Experience in the real estate or property industry is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated success in sales, client procurement, and relationship management.
  • Thorough knowledge of real estate trends, property regulations, and industry standards.
  • Outstanding abilities in communication, negotiation, and presentations.
  • Driven by self-motivation, focused on targets, and oriented towards results.
  • Skill in handling various priorities and performing under stress.
  • Expertise in CRM applications and Microsoft Office Suite.
