Sefwiman Rural Bank PLC in the Western North Region is looking to hire a Head of Credit.
Position Summary
- Assess credit proposals and provide suitable recommendations to the Chief Executive Officer and the board following the bank’s credit policies and applicable regulations.
- Oversee all credit facilities and inform the Chief Executive Officer about early warning signs.
- Compile and send all monthly and quarterly regulatory and prudential reports to the appropriate authorities.
- Any additional tasks that may be assigned by management
Required Qualification & Experience
- At least a Master’s Degree in a business-related field from an accredited higher education institution. A pertinent professional qualification would serve as an additional benefit.
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a Credit Manager
- Familiarity with T24 Core Banking Software
- Stay informed about the Borrowers and Lenders Act, 2020 (Act 1052), the Credit Reporting Act, 2007 (Act 726), and the Banks and Specialized Deposit-Taking Institutions Act, 2016 (Act 930).
- Skilled in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Robust analytical and numerical abilities
- Should focus on specifics
- Outstanding customer support abilities
- Exceptional abilities in report writing
- Highly impartial and autonomous
- Strong commitment to honesty
