Job Title: Food and Beverage Supervisor

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Food and Beverage Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our dining and kitchen facilities. This leadership role requires a proactive manager who can drive operational efficiency, lead a diverse team, and uphold the highest standards of food quality, safety, and service. Your primary objective is to maximize revenue through innovative menu planning and exceptional customer experiences.

Role Summary

As the Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will manage all F&B activities within budgetary guidelines while maintaining superior standards. You will be responsible for menu design, team leadership, compliance, and fostering a culture centered on customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Your leadership will span operational, financial, and team management areas:

First, you will manage all daily food and beverage operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to budget.
You will preserve and enhance excellent levels of service for both internal and external customers.
A core duty involves designing appealing menus, managing procurement, and continuously improving offerings.
Furthermore, you will implement and enforce all Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), and food hygiene protocols (e.g., HACCP).
You will also proactively identify customer needs, address concerns, and ensure a consistently positive dining experience.
Additionally, you will lead the F&B team through recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management.
You will establish clear targets, KPIs, and operational procedures to guide the team.
Finally, you will monitor portion control, manage waste, optimize costs, and prepare regular sales and productivity reports for management.

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate is a proven hospitality professional with strong managerial acumen:

A Bachelor’s degree in Food Service Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of five years of progressive experience in food and beverage management, preferably within a high-volume café, hotel, or restaurant group.
A professional certification in Food Safety (e.g., ServSafe) is a strong advantage.
Membership with a relevant hospitality professional body is also beneficial.
