Job Title: Technical Sales Executive

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and driven Technical Sales Executive to join our Home & Personal Care (HPC) Chemical team in Tema, Ghana. This role is ideal for a professional with strong knowledge of HPC ingredients who excels in solution-based selling. You will promote and sell our comprehensive range of HPC products, building lasting partnerships with clients in the home cleaning, laundry, hair care, and personal care industries.
What We Expect
You will be an integral part of our Chemical division, focused on expanding our HPC market presence. Your primary mission is to develop and maintain a robust client pipeline in line with SOLEVO’s commercial strategy, driving growth through technical expertise and strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will blend sales, analysis, and strategic development:
- Client Portfolio Development: Retain current customers while actively recruiting new ones, targeting at least two prospective client visits daily. Submit detailed weekly CRM reports on all activities
- Market Research & Strategy: Analyze market trends and competitor activity to provide actionable recommendations for business development.
- Business Management: Prepare quotes and contracts based on customer forecasts, ensuring profitability and adherence to business excellence standards.
- Innovation & Market Intelligence: Propose high-value products to capture market share and maintain detailed competitor SWOT analyses.
- Cash Collection Support: Assist the finance team with timely customer payment reminders and collections.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Science, or a related field.
- At least two years of experience in Technical Sales or Quality Control, preferably within the HPC, Food, or Pharmaceutical industries.
- Proven ability to identify customer needs, negotiate deals, and build sustainable partnerships.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with a strong customer service orientation.
- An analytical, innovative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Nice-to-Have:
- A solid technical background with the ability to quickly master product knowledge.
- Experience in commercial prospecting and familiarity with internal sales procedures.
