Education and Qualifications
Requirements for this position include;
Essential
- An HND in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering, or similar experience and training. Accredited Motor Vehicle Apprenticeship or Training Program with Indenture.
- Parts 1, 2, and 3 of Motor Vehicle Craft Studies, or Parts 1, 2, and 3 of Motor Vehicle Technicians, or BTEC equivalent.
- Valid driving license as of now.
Desirable:
- Eligible for C1E+D1E driving license.
Previous experience (paid or unpaid, relevant to the position).
- Proficient in diagnosing and finding issues in automotive, electronic, mechanical, and technical domains.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools to find issues with medical devices and equipment.
- Prior experience conducting technical and engineering repairs using a variety of advanced tools and equipment
- Desirable qualifications include a significant understanding of medical equipment maintenance and repair, as well as prior supervisory or managerial experience diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
- Expertise and experience with quality management systems such as ISO 13485:2012 and ISO 9001:2000.
- Has the ability to demonstrate prior experience diagnosing and finding problems in an
- NHS or ambulance service setting.
