Education and Qualifications

Requirements for this position include;

Essential

  • An HND in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering, or similar experience and training. Accredited Motor Vehicle Apprenticeship or Training Program with Indenture.
  • Parts 1, 2, and 3 of Motor Vehicle Craft Studies, or Parts 1, 2, and 3 of Motor Vehicle Technicians, or BTEC equivalent.
  • Valid driving license as of now.

Desirable:

  • Eligible for C1E+D1E driving license.

Previous experience (paid or unpaid, relevant to the position).

  • Proficient in diagnosing and finding issues in automotive, electronic, mechanical, and technical domains.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools to find issues with medical devices and equipment.
  • Prior experience conducting technical and engineering repairs using a variety of advanced tools and equipment
  • Desirable qualifications include a significant understanding of medical equipment maintenance and repair, as well as prior supervisory or managerial experience diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
  • Expertise and experience with quality management systems such as ISO 13485:2012 and ISO 9001:2000.
  • Has the ability to demonstrate prior experience diagnosing and finding problems in an
  • NHS or ambulance service setting.
