POSITION: Assistant Branch Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven professional to join our leadership team as an Assistant Branch Manager. This role is ideal for an individual with strong sales acumen and operational expertise who is ready to drive growth and ensure outstanding client service.

Job Purpose

The Assistant Branch Manager will oversee daily insurance operations with a focus on both growth and service excellence. Your primary objectives will include generating new business, managing corporate and individual client accounts, supervising underwriting and claims processes, and consistently ensuring customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in expanding our market presence while maintaining our high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will be dynamic and client-focused, encompassing the following duties:

Proactively prospect and sell the company’s diverse range of insurance products and services.
Develop and execute effective sales strategies to exceed both business and personal performance targets.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to individuals, groups, associations, and corporate bodies.
Communicate business decisions and critical information clearly to all stakeholders, including team members and clients.
Continually review and assess existing insurance policies to ensure they fully address policyholder needs and market demands.
Furthermore, you will perform any other duties deemed necessary to support branch objectives and overall company goals.

Your Qualifications and Experience

Essential Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a closely related field.
A minimum of five years of proven, hands-on experience within the insurance industry.
Exceptional sales, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
Strong organizational and project management skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
Core computer literacy and strong numeracy skills.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Possessing a Diploma in Insurance will be a significant advantage. We are looking for a strategic thinker who can lead projects independently. The successful candidate will also demonstrate excellent client relationship skills, a capacity for innovative thinking, and superb time management.
