Job Description

AnoMansa Beach Resort, a distinguished four-star destination on Elmina’s historic coastline, seeks an experienced Fitness & Wellness Lead to curate exceptional wellness experiences for our guests. This role presents a unique opportunity to develop and implement comprehensive fitness programs within a luxury resort environment featuring 36 ocean-view rooms, multiple dining venues, and premium wellness facilities.

Role Overview

As Fitness & Wellness Lead, you will design and deliver innovative group exercise sessions while providing personalized fitness guidance to resort guests. You will oversee the daily operations of our wellness facilities, maintain equipment standards, and ensure all activities align with our commitment to hospitality excellence. This position demands both creative programming skills and operational management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Wellness Program Development & Delivery

Conduct dynamic group exercise sessions, including yoga, aerobics, and strength training
Design personalized fitness plans tailored to individual guests needs and goals
Develop and implement comprehensive wellness programs that enhance guest experience
Maintain current knowledge of fitness trends and industry best practices

Guest Experience & Service Excellence

Provide exceptional customer service through professional fitness instruction
Ensure guest satisfaction through attentive service and program customization
Promote resort wellness services and cultural experience partnerships
Maintain the highest standards of safety and hygiene throughout all facilities

Facility Operations & Management

Oversee daily operations of fitness centers and wellness areas
Perform regular equipment maintenance and safety inspections
Manage inventory of fitness supplies and wellness accessories
Implement and enforce safety protocols and emergency procedures

Qualifications and Experience

Essential Requirements:

Professional certification in fitness instruction or wellness programming
Demonstrated experience in group exercise leadership and personal training
Comprehensive knowledge of exercise physiology and fitness principles
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills

Technical Competencies:

Ability to design and implement diverse fitness programs
Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
Proficiency in fitness assessment and personalized plan development
Understanding of luxury hospitality standards and guest expectations

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field
Experience in resort or hospitality wellness environments

Knowledge of safety standards and emergency response procedures
