Key Responsibilities

Your role spans food preparation, cleaning, equipment maintenance, hygiene compliance, and peak period support. Here is what you will tackle:

Food Preparation & Cooking

You will assist in food preparation and cooking, helping to chop, peel, and measure ingredients.
Supporting the cook with basic cooking tasks.

Cleanliness

You will maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, sweeping, mopping, and wiping surfaces.
Ensuring waste is disposed of properly.

Equipment Maintenance

You will wash and store utensils and equipment, ensuring they are clean and ready for use.
Reporting damaged equipment to supervisors.

Hygiene Compliance

You will follow food safety and hygiene standards, including hand washing and wearing appropriate attire.
Preventing cross contamination between raw and cooked foods.

Peak Period Support

You will support the catering team during peak periods, helping with extra tasks as needed.

What You Bring to the Role

Qualifications & Experience

A JHS or SHS certificate.
Prior kitchen or catering experience gives you an advantage.

Skills & Personal Attributes

Physical fitness to stand for long hours, lift heavy pots, and move around the kitchen.
Basic understanding of English for following instructions and safety guidelines.
Strong hygiene awareness for maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment.
Reliable: You show up on time and complete tasks without constant supervision.
