POSITION: Showroom Sales Representative

ASSA ABLOY is seeking a dynamic Showroom Sales Representative to coordinate all retail sales activities in our showroom. Your Mission

You will coordinate all retail sales activities within the ASSA ABLOY showroom, ensuring that every walk in customer receives detailed product information and exceptional service. Your ability to educate, assist, and close sales will directly impact customer satisfaction and revenue. Additionally, you will manage inventory, process transactions, and collaborate with suppliers to maintain a showroom that consistently meets customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

Your role spans customer service, sales execution, inventory management, and operational coordination. Here is what you will tackle:

Customer Service & Education

  • You will provide exceptional customer service assistance by responding to inquiries and complaints with professionalism and care.
  • Educating customers about terminology, features, and benefits of products improves product related sales while enhancing customer satisfaction.

Sales Processing & Order Management

  • You will process customer orders, quotes, queries, complaints, and concerns in a courteous, efficient, and timely manner.
  • Using the company pricing system and policies ensures customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods every time.

Showroom Maintenance & Merchandising

  • You will examine merchandise in stock and on display to ensure correct pricing, labeling, and presentation while verifying that products function properly.
  • Maintaining an attractive, organized showroom creates a welcoming environment that encourages sales.

Inventory & Reporting

  • You will review inventory and sales records to prepare reports for management.
  • Reordering when inventory drops to specified levels prevents stock outs and ensures product availability.
  • Examining products purchased for resale or received for storage allows you to assess the condition of each item before it reaches customers.

Financial & Operational Coordination

  • You will ensure that payments from all transactions are banked and remitted in a timely manner where required.
  • Conferring with company officials to develop methods and procedures increases sales, expands markets, and promotes business growth.
  • Estimating consumer demand and determining the types and amounts of goods to be sold keeps our inventory aligned with customer preferences.
  • Liaising with suppliers and service providers ensures the showroom remains well equipped and ready to meet customer needs.

What You Bring to the Role

We are looking for a candidate with the right qualifications, experience, and competencies. Here is what you need:

Qualifications & Experience

  • A minimum Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Business Management, or any other business related course.
  • At least two years of experience in a showroom sales environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft Dynamics (Business Central) applications.
  • Inventory management experience gives you a distinct advantage.
