Your Mission: Support, Execute, and Strengthen

You will support the Audit Manager in planning, executing, and reporting internal audit activities. Your focus will span financial and operational risks across cocoa processing, procurement, warehousing, and sales operations. Every audit you conduct, every report you prepare, and every recommendation you make will contribute to the company’s resilience and long term success.

Key Roles and Duties

Your responsibilities will cover audit planning, risk assessment, compliance monitoring, and investigative work. Here is what you will tackle:

Audit Planning & Execution

You will assist in developing and implementing the annual internal audit plan based on risk assessment. Your input will shape the audit agenda.
Identifying control gaps, operational inefficiencies, and risk exposures allows you to recommend practical improvements that drive change.

Compliance & Risk Management

Ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements keeps operations aligned with expectations.
Supporting fraud risk assessments and participating in investigations of suspected fraud or misconduct demonstrates your commitment to integrity.

Reporting & Analysis

Preparing clear internal audit reports with root cause analysis and risk ratings ensures stakeholders understand findings and required actions. Your reports will drive decision making.

What You Bring to the Role

We are looking for a candidate with the right educational background, professional certifications, and extensive experience. Here is what you need:

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline provides your foundation.

Professional Certification

A professional qualification such as ICA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA is required. These credentials demonstrate your technical expertise.
Certification in risk management or fraud examination serves as an added advantage, setting you apart from other candidates.

Experience

A minimum of six years of relevant experience in internal or external audit, assurance, or risk management.
At least three of those years must be in a supervisory or senior audit role, showing your readiness for leadership.

Skills and Competencies

Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards and risk based audit methodologies guides your approach.
An excellent understanding of internal controls, governance, and compliance frameworks allows you to assess complex environments.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office ensures you can navigate the tools essential to modern auditing.
